Happy Sunday, dear friends!
I hope you have had a wonderful weekend and are ready for the week ahead! This week’s Sunday Share is all about things that brought me joy this week.
Dating and dining
My office was closed for Presidents’ Day, but both kiddos had school, so Husband and I took the opportunity to go to the eye doctor (such a grown up thing to do) and then snuck away for a lunch date. We were on our way to visit my Dad at the hospital and Houston’s was on the way. It’s one of our favorite places, but one we often forget about because it’s just outside the “can we eat there after work and before the kids go to bed” zone. It was a great opportunity to catch up, plan our week and enjoy just being together. What a great way to start the week. (Also, the seared tuna salad is the best salad I’ve ever had and the tomatoes always taste fresh from the garden – I need the name of their farmer!)
Training and Target

Training and Target
Yes, it’s potty training time again in our house. When Wild Man potty trained we went directly to underwear from diapers, but this time around we are going the pull-up route. This week, Bunny and I ran to Target for pull-ups, pizza and underpants and made a girls date night out of it. We had a great time laughing and talking all through the store and even found some special Minnie Mouse undies to use as an incentive to give up the pull-ups. Target has long been one of my favorite places, but I would never have imagined taking my 2-year-old on a date there. What joyful surprises motherhood brings!
Following
I am loving (in)courage’s Instagram feed. I discovered the community a few years ago but have just started following them on Instagram a few weeks ago. The posts seem to have just the right encouragement at just the right time. I hope you find (in)courage as wonderful as I do!
So that’s it for me, what are you favorite things this week?
p.s. The top image is from our favorite local diner, Lola. We can always count on them when we are too tired to cook!
