Sunday Share

Happy Sunday, friends! This has been a wonderfully wacky week with Wild Man finishing kindergarten, day camp orientation and more activities in the last three days of school than I could have imagined. I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for some relaxation and a vacation. I bet you are too. This week’s Sunday Share covers things every woman needs in her life, summer books for grown-ups, parenting and a sweet song. I hope it brings you as much joy as each post brought me.

Summer reading: Five kid books we love

Summer is here, friends! Yesterday marked Wild Man’s last day of kindergarten and we now officially have a first grader! We got a great packet of summer activities from his teacher, but the number one thing she wants him to do is practice reading.

Wild Man’s reading has really taken off in the last few months and today we are sharing five of his favorites. These are also some of Bunny’s favorite books, so kids of all ages should enjoy them. Now, other parents may be frustrated that their kids are coming home literally spackled with dirt after building ponds for ants and tiny boats of sticks for the ants to sail on, but not this Mama. I’m thrilled.

Sunday Share

Happy Sunday, friends! This week’s list is all over the place, kinda like me. I don’t know if it’s because summer is right around the corner or what, but I’m feeling a bit discombobulated these days. Are you? Perhaps it’s just me. Anyway, today’s favorites list tackles some wonderfully serious topics and some delightfully delicious ones. I hope you find something you like and have a fabulous day!
